I’m 6,4 relatively new rider. Started and currently riding Vulcan 900 which is a good (not perfect though) fit for my hight. I was thinking about getting a sport bike, I’m not a big fan of high speed (100mph is probably my top comfortable speed) but I really love acceleration ability of a sport bike. Major concern is I’m doing a lot of research of the rider hight issue and it looks so ridiculous. You really look like a tall teenager on a toddler bicycle. That’s how I look at it.

I’m 6’3”, after an hour or so, the position the bike put me in would see my neck killing me. Moreover, at 250lbs, the bike really wasn’t strong enough to get up to speed quickly.

I’m only 6’0 and the cutout fits my legs ok. Definitely because I’m shorter than you are. I put on the Hurricane Fat Swallow to get a bit more reach and avoid a little wind..the Puig shield also helps. I’m a 34/34 185 lbs. longer limbs shorter torso. I do like the original bars but not much on faster rides the wind battle gave me some shoulder pain but that was from Pa to Va

Speedo is 10mph off at higher speeds. You got to around 75mph. On a naked bike, that's getting pretty windy anyway. Actual speeds: 55-65mph is very comfortable and capable. 65-75 gets windy and you lose some passing ability. 75-85 is very windy and you only have gradual acceleration. 85+ is possible but is uncomfortable and only incremental acceleration.

I'm 195cm with some bad knee joints. Has someone tried making some custom drivers seat for higher seating position? Or does that throw off overall mechanics of the ride?

I had an 08 a few years back. It does it, but it’s not too much fun in Texas on I-10 where 75 really means 90+ to all the cars around you lol. But yea it does it.

I’m 6’4” tall the first thing I did have the seat modified like a bench seat, 30mm bar riser’s and aftermarket Enduro handle bars, MOTEC Lower foot rests, extended the gear level to suit me , got rid off the wind shield, wast of space, and still modifying. When you’re tall no bike suits you!

I am (doing the calculations since I am from europe), 6'39. and I have an inseam of 33 to 34. How would you, (or anyone in here reading this), reckon i'd fit on a 650r? I really want one, or any sportbike in that category for that matter.

Tried installing mine tonight and couldn’t get it kept sticking trued loosening the cable but to no avail seemed like the top wouldn’t quite turn and line up the right way so it was grinding any tip would be appreciated!

I saw one of these and was considering it as a second. I ride a Vstrom now n it’s super comfy for big. I’m 6,4 250 and it’s just right. You loook tight on that bike I doubt I’d like it as is. Thanks for the video

Descent beginners bike and comfortable to. Already researching big bikes once Tests passed. So good you can add seat risers etc. Cheers
